Located on the outskirts of downtown Eugene, Lane 5 CrossFit strives to set a different standard in fitness training by focusing on training for General Physical Preparedness (GPP). With two world class trainers, brothers Tom and Billy Pappas, Lane 5 will help you train using Olympic Weight Lifting techniques, Gymnastic movements, a variety of cardio and body weight movements, and other cross-training techniques to live a healthy, full life. We specifically design our workout regime to ensure the overall fitness of our members, while keeping in mind their lifestyles and needs.

This means getting stronger, losing body fat, increasing stamina and endurance, better flexibility, increased power and speed, more cardiovascular ability. At Lane 5 CrossFit, we will give you the tools to increase work capacity and develop an overall fitness level you never thought imaginable. We hope to help our members not only increase their fitness, but also help them to change their lifestyle through fitness, nutrition, and a supportive community.[/toggle] [toggle title=”General Physical Preparedness”]In the sports world, you will find that a basketball player trains differently than a football player; just like  a distance runner trains differently than a sprinter. While not everyone can train for a specific sport, we can train for life itself through GPP that everyone can do.  At Lane 5 CrossFit, we train to become the best, as well as the Fittest across the board. This means getting stronger, losing body fat, increasing stamina and endurance, better flexibility, increased power and speed, more cardiovascular ability. CrossFit will give you the tools to increase work capacity and develop an overall fitness level you never thought imaginable.[/toggle] [toggle title=”Nutrition Education”]Nutrition is a HUGE PART of fitness, but can also be a tough subject. According to our trainers, nutrition can be one of the least agreed upon aspect of fitness. You won’t find too many arguments over “how to get strong” but when it comes to nutrition there are books written on opposite sides. It is important to understand your own body and add in other personal experiences. Understanding science behind nutrition is key. At Lane 5 CrossFit we will work with members on basic nutrition choices, supply reading material as well as share personal experiences. Ultimately, we strive for every member to find the path that best fits them. It is important to remember that nutrition and fitness is a life long choice so implementing a plan that is SUSTAINABLE is crucial.[/toggle] [toggle title=”Vibrant Community”]CrossFit also plays an important role with motivation, creating fun workout environments, developing friendships, and becoming part of a community. We all know that motivation can be a hinderance to working out alone or if you are uncertain of what to do. All of our classes are in a group setting and every session is programmed and guided by one of our coaches. You will sweat and learn with others. At Lane 5, you will become part of a community, holding competitions together, barbecues, and special events.[/toggle] [/accordian] [/one_half] [one_half last=”yes”] [title size=”2″] Services We Offer [/title] [progress percentage=”100″]Crossfit Classes[/progress][progress percentage=”100″]Sport Specific Training[/progress][progress percentage=”100″]Nutrition Consultations[/progress] [progress percentage=”100″]Personal Training[/progress] [/one_half] [separator top=”30″] [title size=”2″]Meet Our Team[/title] [one_third last=”no”] [person name=”Tom Pappas” picture=”https://lane5crossfit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/582791_375113755893952_899126148_n.jpg” title=”Owner, Trainer”]From traveling the world, coaching at the Division I Level, and training at the Olympic Training Center, Tom has a vast knowledge to share.
