What is Crossfit?CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. CrossFit contends that a person is as fit as they are proficient in each of ten general physical skills: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.

What We Strive For
Lane 5 CrossFit strives to set a different standard in fitness training by focusing on training for General Physical Preparedness (GPP). With two world class trainers, brothers Tom and Billy Pappas, Lane 5 will help you train using Olympic Weight Lifting, Gymnastic movements, a variety of cardio and body weight movements, and other cross-training techniques to improve strength and stamina to live a healthier life.
Workouts for All Skill Levels
In the sports world, you will find that a basketball player trains differently than a football player; just like a distance runner trains differently than a sprinter. While not everyone can train for a specific sport, we can train for life itself through GPP (General Physical Preparedness).
All of our classes are in a group setting and every session is programmed and guided by one of our coaches. The Lane 5 Community consists of like minded individuals pursuing long term health and fitness. The members help to motivate each other, hold one another accountable, and help to push each other on a day to day basis. At Lane 5, you will become part of a family that develops long lasting friendships that go beyond the gym. Members get together for hiking trips, camping, barbecues, and other special events.
