Summer Kids Program
10-week summer fitness for 7-12 year olds, coached by collegiate and professional athletes!
- Stay active this summer with games and functional fitness
- Improve coordination and athleticism
- Develop movement patterns, strength, body awareness, jumping and running ability
- Form healthy habits, practice listening skills, and learn to have fun while exercising
- All levels / experience welcome!
Primary Coaches
Bill Pappas: University of Oregon Decathlete. All American, Conference Champion, 2004 Olympic trials competitor. Former Instructor at the National Personal Training Institute.
Heidie Ortega: Collegiate Basketball Player, Coaching Individual and Group classes for over 23 years. Numerous certifications – Kids Crossfit, USA Olympic Weightlifting. Founder of Cardio Muscle at Lane 5.
Additional Coaching Staff
Roslyn Overstake: University of Oregon Heptathlete. 2-time All American in javelin. Ros has coached volleyball/track at the high school level, and track at the collegiate level.
Bridget (Franek) Lemay: NCAA champion for Penn State, 2012 Olympian and Olympic finalist in the steeplechase. Bridget has coached track at high school and the collegiate level.
Class Details
- Class times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:15-2:15 pm
- Start date: Tuesday, June 17th
- End date: Thursday, August 21st
- Location: Lane 5 CrossFit
- Price: Select $265 (10 weeks up front) or $120 per 4 week block at sign up
- Discounts available. $30 per week for additional weeks.
